Dr. Epstein is a medical director at Cigna Healthcare, a health insurance company based in Bloomfield, Conn.

He previously held medical director positions in companies such as United HealthCare, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia and The Travelers Insurance Cos. Before that, he was a medical director for Matria, a national disease management company, and senior medical officer of the Great Rochester Independent Practice Association. Earlier, he worked as senior consultant for an international employee benefits and health care consulting firm Towers Perrin.

He received his B.S. from Tulane University and his M.B.A. from the Emory University School of Business. He obtained his M.D. from the Chicago Medical School and completed his residency at Michael Reese Medical Center and at Baylor College of Medicine.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 140 home sales in Pepper Pike in 2008, with a median sales price of $465,000.
