Andrew Krakowiak sold a three-bedroom, two-bath home at 7194 Brecksville Road in Independence to Suzanne and Philip G. Tschetter for $305,000 on Oct. 16.

The 2,788-square-foot house was built in 1910 in the Independent East neighborhood.

Krakowiak is a former principal of Elyria Catholic High School.

Previously, he worked at Holy Name High School as assistant principal, teacher and coach.

He received his B.A. from John Carroll University and his master's degree in educational administration from Ursuline College.

Ms. Tschetter is the manager of PFS financial reporting at Cleveland Clinic Foundation.

Before that, she was director of reporting and credit balance resolution at Cleveland Clinic Health System.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 88 home sales in Independence during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $202,000.
