Stefano Giaconi bought a four-bedroom, four-bath home at 16604 S. Fourth St. in the Ahwatukee Foothills from Bank of America National Association for $376,000 on Oct. 28.

Bank of America National Association and Washington Mutual Mortgage foreclosed on the property in Aug. 2009. The 3,026-square-foot house was built in 1996.

Giaconi has been a senior analog design engineer at Intel Corp. Prior to working with Intel, he also worked as an analog design engineer at STMicroelectronics and as hardware design engineer at Esaote Spa.

He attended the University of Phoenix and Universita degli Studi di Firenze.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 1,114 home sales in the Ahwatukee Foothills during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $237,000.
