Dr. Ovidio Vitas and Sharon Vitas sold condo Unit #8A at 201 E. Canal St. on the Upper East Side to Don Cohen and Lisa Cohen for $700,000 on Aug. 31.

The Vitas paid $495,000 for the condo in Feb. 2003.The condo development was built in 1926.

Dr. Vitas is a urologist at Cape Canaveral Hospital in Florida. He is affiliated with Wuesthoff Memorial Hospital and Cape Canaveral Hospital.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 188 condo sales on the Upper East Side in 2008, with median sales price of $965,000.
