Media firm owner draws $2.25 for West Village condo

Medium c6644087b92d0d499a6d72848ce01ffa Randall Balsmeyer and his wife, Mimi K. Everett, sold condo Unit #PHB at 33 Bethune St. in West Village to David W. Kaiser for $2.25 million on Sept. 10.

The six-story Pickwick House condo development houses 24 units and was built in 1930.

Balsmeyer is creative director and president of Big Film Design in New York. He's previously served as a the co-owner of the motion-graphics firm Balsmeyer & Everett, Inc., and has also worked with R/GA, a New York-based advertising agency.

He studied architecture at USC and the University of California-Irvine. He earned a B.F.A. in design from the California Institute of the Arts.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 264 condo sales in West Village during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $872,000.
