Veteran tour promoter spends $1.25M on Upper West Side

Medium 2352f41e70607b064c757d2bd151fbc4 Jonathan Hochwald and Jennifer Stone Hochwald bought a condo at 2109 Broadway on the Upper West Side from Michel Madie for $1.25 million on Sept. 17.

The 984-square-foot Unit #13126 is in the Ansonia Condominiums, a mid-rise apartment building located between West 73rd Street and West 74th Street.

Mr. Hochwald has served as executive vice president for productions at Madison Square Garden Entertainment. Before he joined MSG Entertainment in 2006, he founded, owned and served as president for Madstone Productions, a tour promoter in NYC. He has also consulted on Cirque du Soleil's Delirium Tour for Live Nation.

He's also worked for Clear Channel Entertainment.

The Ansonia, which was built as a hotel between 1899 and 1904, has 439 units on 17 floors.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 389 condo sales on the Upper West Side during the past 12 months, with median sales price of $800,000.
