Boris Metlitsky and Ella Metlitsky sold condo Unit #16D at 119 E. 23rd St. in Kips Bay to Jorge Pablo Hermoso for $990,000 on Sept. 25.

The Metlitskys paid $1.299 million for the property in March 2007.

Mr. Metlitsky has served as the senior vice president of product strategy development and technologies at Symbol Technologies Inc., an enterprise mobility company in New York.

He earned his M.S. in electrical engineering from the Moscow Institute of Electronics and his Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the Central Aerological Observatory in Russsia.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 67 condo sales in Kips Bay during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $525,000.
