Novelist trades Times Square condo for $1.02M

Medium 5b18da68fe189173c9c6db0f9b4501f7 Andrew S. Trees and Heesun Choi sold their condo at 350 W. 42nd St. in Times Square to David Kahn for $1.02 million on Nov. 12.

Trees and Choi acquired the property for $970,000 in May 2006. Unit 11L is part of Orion condominium development, a 60-story building that houses over 550 units.

Trees is the author of Club Rules, a novel that centers on the lives of several couples in a wealthy suburban town.

He also wrote Decoding Love, a book on love and human attraction.

He received a Ph.D. in American history from the University of Virginia and holds an M.A. in English literature.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 155 condo sales in Times Square during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $725,000.
