The 1,168-square-foot Unit #9B is one of the 277 units in the Trump Palace, a 57-story development built in 1950.

Mr. Berland is managing director of sales and client services at Gresham Investment Management LLC.

He previously was a vice president at Jefferies Group Inc. He also was a director at American Express Co.

He received his B.S. in economics from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 338 condo sales in Lenox Hill during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $1.11 million.
