Foursquare co-founder nets $1.4M home in SoHo

Medium 2e0c668a5730c5860893e769edc4fd5e Naveen Selvadurai bought a condo at 41 Crosby St. in SoHo from John Wotowicz for $1.425 million on Nov. 22.

Wotowicz paid $1.295 million for the condo in Dec. 2006. The condo, Unit #3F, is part of the 41 Crosby St. condo development, which was built in 1900.

Selvadurai is an internet entrepreneur and founder of Foursquare.com, a New York City-headquartered location-based social networking website. Prior to forming the company in Sept. 2009, he was an architect and vice president of engineering at Socialight. He was also a blogger for Nokia, a director and software architect at Sony Music Entertainment and worked as an engineer at Sun Microsystems, Run Tones, Inc. and Lucent Technologies.

He has B.S. and M.S. degrees from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He also attended the University of London.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 105 condo sales in SoHo during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $1,667,500.
