O'Connell and Pinault paid $710,000 for the property in Feb. 2006. The 3,871-square-foot house was built in 1963 in Edom/Rimlon.

Mr. Kobus is the owner of Martin Kobus Inc., a Sausalito-based provider of custom window treatments and wall upholstery.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 641 home sales in Rancho Mirage during the last 12 months, with a median sales price of $450,000.
