Kathryn M. Burgomaster and David S. Nazarian bought a three-bedroom, one-bath home at 7326 16th Ave. N.W. in Ballard from Jeffrey D. Plesko for $397,950 on Sept. 16.

The 1,250-square-foot house was built in 1908 in the Salmon Bay Park subdivision.

Burgomaster is a former product manager at Motorola Inc. Previously, she was a senior project manager at Schematic, a Los Angeles-based interactive agency. Earlier, she worked for the Content Project.

She attended Mount Holyoke College, Northwestern University and the University of Chicago.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 685 home sales in Ballard in 2008, with a median sales price of $459,950.
