Kimberly Oberg and Claudia La Rose sold a five-bedroom, 3.5-bath home at 8411 N.E. 127th Court in Kirkland to Arun Vaidyanathan for $500,000 on Sept. 16.

The 2,500-square-foot house was built in 2001 in the Fin Hill subdivision.

Oberg was a senior business development manager at Microsoft Corporation.

She previously worked with music companies such as MCA Records Inc. and Universal Music Group as business and legal affairs manager.

She attended California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo.

La Rose is an attorney as well as the manager in the contracts department at Exponent Inc., a California-based engineering and scientific consulting firm.

She previously was with UtilX Corp. as legal services director. Earlier, she was an attorney in private law firms and was a business and legal affairs manager at Universal Music Group.

She studied at the University of California–Davis.

Vaidyanathan is a sales manager at Brotherton Cadillac. He has been working in the company for the past six years.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 282 home sales in Kirkland in 2008, with a median sales price of $442,625.
