Design firm associate buys in Southwest Seattle

Medium 9ac4a72e2398b1dd5c8f92f8c1a6469e Todd L. Bronk and Alice Thavis bought a four-bedroom, one-bath home at 3611 44th Ave. S.W. in Southwest Seattle from Darla M. McDonald for $402,000 on Sept. 18.

The 1,400-square-foot home was built in 1923 in the Sparkman & MC Leans subdivision.

Bronk is an associate at EDAW Inc., a land and environment-based planning and design firm. He also serves on the board of directors of the Seattle Architecture Foundation.

He previously was a landscape architect at The Beals Group.

He attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 1,375 sales in Southwest Seattle during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $393,000.
