He is also the chief executive officer of Salmar Financial, LLC, which he founded in 2003. He also worked as general sales manager at Pierre Enterprises Inc.

He received his M.B.A. from the University of Phoenix in 2001.

There were 370 sales in Kirkland in 2008 with median sales price of $479,750.
