UW associate professor and Intel researcher leave Lake City 5BD

Medium 0222965b4625ce8d65befa058645a8da Steven D. Gribble and Sunny A. Consolvo sold a five-bedroom, three-bath home at 9721 48th Ave. N.E. in Lake City to Weiping Zeng and Qinghong Zhou for $682,000 on Nov. 17.

Gribble and Consolvo paid $721,000 for the house in June 2005. The 2,920-square-foot house in Lake Shore View subdivision was built in 2001.

Gribble is an associate professor in the University of Washington Department of Computer Science and Engineering, which he joined in 2000. He is a member of ACM and USENIX and was a co-founder of ProxiNet, Inc.

He earned his Ph.D. and M.S. in computer science from University of California-Berkeley and his B.Sc. in computer science and physics from the University of British Columbia.

Consolvo is a researcher at Intel Labs Seattle. She focuses her research in developing persuasive technologies to encourage health & wellness and investigating how to help individuals to be physically active.

She holds a Ph.D. in information science from the University of Washington's Information School.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 240 home sales in Lake City during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $364,000.
