Rabbi sells in Croton-on-Hudson

Medium 5027419ff6d0b931db12069b3d604056 Helene and Alan Ferris sold a four-bedroom, four-bath home at 215 Hessian Hills Road in Croton-on-Hudson to Evan and Hilary Sils for $635,000 on Oct. 18.

The home is in the North of Grand Avenue neighborhood.

Mrs. Ferris is a rabbi emerita of Temple Israel.

She previously was senior rabbi of the Temple Israel of N. Westchester for 15 years. Earlier, she was an associate rabbi at the Stephen Wise Free Synagogue in Manhattan.

She received a B.A. from Barnard College and an M.A. in psychology from Columbia University. She was ordained at the Reform Seminary at the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in New York.

Mr. Sils is vice president and counsel at Credit Suisse.

He joined Credit Suisse in 2006 as a consultant. He also served as an associate at Torys LLP.

He attended Wesleyan University and the Berkeley School of Law at the University of California-Berkeley.
