School director settles in Henderson 4BD

Medium 2fd870248918353834eb266af77db69b Carol Handegard and Gail A. Handegard bought a four-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 356 Emden St. in Henderson from Sandra and Edward J. Taylor for $340,000 on Oct. 29.

The Taylors paid $169,900 for the property in Oct. 1994. The 2,295-square-foot house was built in 1994 in the Henderson Townsite/Carver Park neighborhood.

Ms. Handegard has served as a marketing director for the Henderson International School, a K-12 private school in Henderson. She's also worked as a substitute teacher for the Clark County School District.

She received her B.S. in sociology, secondary education and criminal justice from South Dakota State University in 1992 and her master's in educational administration from Excelsior University in 2005.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 9,420 home sales in Henderson during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $116,000.
