Mary Lynn Palenik and Richard Allen Palenik bought a four-bedroom, 4.5-bath home at 2736 Moliere Court in Henderson from Flagstar Bank for $485,000 on Nov. 10.

Flagstar Bank foreclosed on the property in August. The 4,486-square-foot house was built in 2006 at Provence subdivision in the Seven Hills Area.

Mrs. Palenik has worked as director of research and analysis at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Chicago. She has been with the firm since 1997.

She earned her B.A. in communications from St. Joseph's Calumet College and her master's in education from the University of Phoenix.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 9,403 home sales in Henderson during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $185,000.
