Consulting co. senior analyst settles in Manor Park home

Medium ee545a8108faa869fe4953cd75e6e820 Julie R. Appelhagen bought a three-bedroom, one-bath home at 730 Tuckerman St. N.W. in Manor Park from Karen S. Cromwell and Karen S. Mitchell for $275,000 on July 23.

The 1,054-square-foot house was built in 1928 in the Manor Park neighborhood.

Appelhagen is the senior analyst at Cloudburst Consulting Group, which develops an agency-wide knowledge management system for USAIDS's Economic Growth and Trade Bureau.

Prior to this, he worked with the Peace Corps, the Bloomington Environmental Commission, the Oregon Commission on Children and Families and the Environmental Protection Policy.

He received his B.S. in environmental management at the University of Findlay and M.P.A. and M.S.E.S. degrees in public affairs and environmental policy from Indiana University in Bloomington.

There were 115 home sales in Manor Park in 2008, with a median sales price of $270,000.
