Methodist Minister sells in Wakefield

Medium 4af761dadadd8d99f802e9226951f39a Susan Harrington De Vogel and Alan F. Zabel sold a three-bedroom, two-bath home at 3567 Appleton St. N.W. in Washington to Barry Merriman and Niamh Sheridan for $1.098 million on Sept. 17.

The 1,890-square-foot house in the Wakefield neighborhood was built in 1940.

De Vogel has been an ordained United Methodist minister. She also was a Ph.D. candidate in training and development at the University of Minnesota.

Zabel is a member of the Foundry United Methodist Church.

According to BlockShopper.com , there were 4,143 sales in Washington in 2008, with a median sales price of $375,000.
