Javid is an electronics engineer at the Federal Communications Commission.

Javid previously worked at the University of Maryland as teaching assistant.

Javid completed B.S. in electronics and his M.S. in communications at Amirkabir University of Technology–Tehran Polytechnic and the University of Maryland–College Park, respectively.

Nasserian is a preconstruction manager at Trammell Crow Residential, a multi-family real estate firm.

Nasserian previously was a teaching assistant at the University of Maryland.

Nasserian attended the Sharif University of Technology, the University of Maryland College Park and the Robert H. Smith School of Business.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 4,143 home sales in Washington in 2008, with a median sales price of $375,000.
