Public relations firm exec sells 2BD home

Medium 44db47c856e2a7dafd29c18633ff46e2 Evan J. Nierman and Robin Nierman sold a two-bedroom, two-bath home at 1743 11th St. N.W. in Washington to Christopher J. Collins and Joseph M. Towery for $589,000 on Sept. 8.

The Niermans acquired the property for $560,000 in April 2006. The 990-square-foot house was built in 1870 in the Logan Circle neighborhood.

Mr. Nierman is the public relations director at Cash4Gold.

He previously was principal at Saylor Co. as well as editorial director and executive editor and communications associate and managing director at AIPAC.

He earned a degree in communications from the George Washington University.

Ms. Nierman is a health educator at Virginia Health Center.

She previously was senior consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton. She also is a certified health education specialist.

She received a degree in psychology and art from Muhlenberg College and a master's degree in health promotion management from Marymount University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 4,143 sales in Washington in 2008, with a median sales price of $375,000.
