Kendall H. Arney and George D. Vincent bought a home at 2432 39th St. N.W. in Glover Park from Andrew K. Cole for $384,715 on Sept. 3.

Arney is an associate at Greener and Hook, a consulting firm in Arlington, Va.

She has worked in pubic relations, fundraising, media consulting and public affairs. In 2003, she interned at the office of Sen. Lamar Alexander and was a page the following year for the Republican National Convention in New York City.

She graduated from the University of Virginia in 2006 with a B.A. and moved to Washington D.C. to take her graduate studies.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 19 home sales in Glover Park in 2008, with a median sales price of $700,000.
