Housing, community development exec buys Good Hope 3BD

Medium b097604f3cf79c030fe1ededf8975285 Christopher Earley and Maria Green bought a three-bedroom, two-bath home at 2211 31st St. S.E. in Washington from Grover Leon Bullock and Hattie P. Bullock for $431,000 on Aug. 31.

The 2,263-square-foot house was built in 1935 in the neighborhood of Good Hope.

Earley is the development finance division manager at the D.C. Department of Housing and Community Development. He previously was housing projects coordinator of the development finance division and as project manager at the same company.

He also has been a senior associate of real estate asset advisory at PWC Consulting.

He holds a bachelor's degree of business administration in finance from Morehouse College (1995), a master's degree of business administration in finance and real estate from the University of Texas at Austin's Red McCombs School of Business (1999), and a graduate certificate in construction management from the University of Washington (2008).

According to BlockShopper.com, there were six home sales in Good Hope in 2008, with a median sales price of $299,000.
