Fashion designer spends $1.3M for Washington 3BD

Medium 6373f4ff28bad178ff867c8c13d82cc0 Sarah Takesh and Saad Mohseni bought a three-bedroom, two-bath home at 1605 30th St. N.W. in Washington from Rita Lamy and Roberto Lamy Buitrago for $1.3 million on Sept. 28.

The 1,686-square-foot house was built in 1900 in the Georgetown neighborhood.

Takesh is a creative and managing director of Tarsian & Blinkley, a privately held Delaware corporation that creates and designs clothing, accessories and other fashionable products.

She received a bachelor's degree in architecture from Columbia University and completed a fachion design course at Parsons School of Design.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 4,155 home sales in Washington in 2008, with a median sales price of $375,000.
