The Kings bought the property for $600,000 in Jan. 2007. The 1,336-square-foot house was built in 1915 at Stanton Park in the Capitol Hill North neighborhood.

Ms. King has been a senior account executive at Fannie Mae.

She attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 4,204 home sales in Washington, D.C. in 2008, with a median sales price of $375,000.
