Asset management executive sells Chevy Chase 3BD

Medium a508986d690d35ebb647d3b13737afd9 Ara Oghoorian and Carina Kaftarian Oghoorian sold a three-bedroom, 1.2-bath home at 3622 Patterson St. N.W. in Washington, D.C. to Yi Ru Chen and Carolynn B. Race for $672,500 on Oct. 7.

The Oghoorians paid $670,000 for the 2,231-square-foot house in Sept. 2006. It was built in 1928 in the neighborhood of Chevy Chase.

Oghorian is the founder and president of ACap Asset Management Inc., an independent investment management and financial advisory firm.

He previously was an associate at Aegis Wealth Management. He also was an assistant financial adviser at Altius Financial Advisers and as resident adviser for internal audit at the U.S. Department of the Treasury in Yerevan, Armenia.

Chen works in the Office of the City Administrator in the Executive Office of the Mayor.

She holds a master's degree from the Naval Postgraduate School Center for Homeland Defense and Security.

According to BlockShopper.com there were 4,212 home sales in Washington, D.C. in 2008, with a median sales price of $375,000.
