Alex B. Yudzon bought a four-bedroom, three-bath home at 4244 Blagden Ave. N.W. in Washington, D.C. from the estate of Fernette Nichols for $660,000 on Oct. 15.

The 2,431-square-foot house was built in 1996 in the Crestwood neighborhood.

Yudzon is an artist whose works have been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in London, Israel, and New York.

He studied at the Pratt Institute of Art and Design in Brooklyn and received a B.F.A. in 1999 from the Chelsea College of Art and Design in London, England.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 4,205 home sales in Washington, D.C. during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $374,700.
