Karl A. Kosiorek and Robert Walter Rice bought a three-bedroom, three-bath home at 4108 Blackthorn St. in Chevy Chase from Mary Jane and William Forbes for $802,500 on Oct. 15.

The 2,116-square-foot house was built in 1940 in the Chevy Chase South of E. West Highway neighborhood.

Kosiorek is the senior vice president and general manager at Snap!VRS, a video relay services provider that distributes the Ojo video phone.

He attended the Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 185 sales in Chevy Chase during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $900,000.
