Jamie and Felice Fava bought a three-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 512 Tschiffely Square Road in Gaithersburg from Catherine Marie Alessi for $450,000 on Oct. 16.

The 1,120-square-foot house was built in 1994 in the Gaithersburg West of Eisenhower Highway neighborhood.

Ms. Fava is the associate director of regulatory affairs at MedImmune, a biotechnology company. Previously, she served as an associate director and manager at Bristol-Myers Squibb.

She received a Pharm.D. from Duquesne University.

Mr. Fava is database statistician at Dow Jones Indexes.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 1,102 sales in Gaithersburg during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $305,000.
