International aid organization officer buys 3BD in Silver Spring

Medium 07872511e3a2675ceb31539ee8bd824d Lori T. Goldhammer and Andrew L. Beil bought a three-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 9 Normandy Dr. in Silver Spring from John and Elaine Lindsay for $447,750 on Oct. 27.

The Lindsays bought the property for $235,000 in April 2000. The 1,584-square-foot house was built in 1940 in the East of Colesville Road neighborhood.

Goldhammer is a resource development officer at CHF International, an international development and humanitarian aid organization based in Silver Spring, Md. She first joined CHF as a project assistant. She also worked as management assistant at SNV Netherlands Development Organization.

She attended Mount Saint Mary's College.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 645 home sales in Silver Spring during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $380,000.
