Tobias Wolfe Heffernan and Daniele Megan Schiffman sold a two-bedroom, 1.5-bath home at 709 A St. N.E. in Capitol Hill to Marilyn W. Thompson for $599,000 on Nov. 1.

Heffernan and Schiffman paid $602,100 for the property in May 2005. The 1,152-square-foot house was built in 1900 and is located in the Capitol Hill Historic District.

Heffernan is a senior contract administrator at Booz Allen Hamilton, a management consulting firm. Previously, he served as a consultant at the Washington Management Group.

He attended Loyola University in Chicago and George Mason University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 71 home sales in Capitol Hill during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $727,500.
