Linglan Edwards sold a three-bedroom, three-bath home at 8010 Inverness Ridge Road in Potomac to Chia Lei Hung for $485,000 on Oct. 15.

The property was previously acquired for $329,000 in Jan. 2002. The 1,682-square-foot house, which was built in 1971, is in Potomac North of Democracy Blvd. It is located in Inverness Forest subdivision.

Edwards is an examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

He received his Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 290 home sales in Potomac during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $795,000.
