Chaeny C. Emanavin and Casey R. Gannon bought a four-bedroom, 3.5-bath home at 6310 Oregon Ave. N.W. in Barnaby Woods from Alireza and Sahba Sizdahkhani for $765,000 on Nov. 9.

The Sizdahkhanis paid $550,000 for the property in Sept. 2008. The 1,647-square-foot house was built in 1937.

Emanavin currently serves as IT manager at DC Living Real Estate, LLC. He has also worked as IT specialist at Bureau of Indian Affairs. He previously was a multimedia specialist at Aspen Systems and a multimedia designer at Igentics, a digital marketing agency.

He received his B.S. in Symbolic Systems from Stanford University in 1998 and his M.A. in communication, culture and technology from Georgetown University in 2004.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 19 home sales in Barnaby Woods during the last 12 months, with a median sales price of $875,000.
