Todd E. Martineau bought a nine-bedroom, four-bath home at 1459 Harvard St. N.W. in Washington from 1459 Harvard LLC for $585,000 on Sept. 15.

The 4,074-square-foot house was built in 1900 in the Columbia Heights neighborhood.

Martineau is vice president and general manager at Superior Concrete Materials, a concrete company that produces and sells ready-mixed concrete, pre-cast concrete products and concrete-related products.

He attended the Elon University - Martha and Spencer Love School of Business.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 4,143 home sales in Washington in 2008, with a median sales price of $375,000.
