Terry and Lisa Schmuck bought a four-bedroom, four-bath home at 163 Timber Meadows Dr. in O'Fallon from David and Deborah Koopersmith for $457,500 on Aug. 19.

The Koopersmiths bought the property for $550,000 in July 2005. The 3,574-square-foot house in the South of 70 O'Fallon neighborhood was built in 2000.

Mr. Schmuck has served as a chief of staff at Boeing.

He graduated from Washington University in 1987 and earned a master's degree in management from Northwestern University in 1998.

Mr. Koopersmith has served as a vice president at Boeing. He was named to this position in 2005, bringing with him more than 25 years of experience in program management, engineering and production of numerous military aircrafts.

He holds a bachelor's degree in aeronautical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 1,072 home sales in O'Fallon in 2008, with a median sales price of $174,000.
