Michele Ann Marinak and David Garvey bought a home at 4 Beh Courtin Elwood from Santa Fe Manufacturing Corp. for $800,000 on Sept. 1.

Sante Fe Manufacturing Corp. acquired the property for $895,000 in January.

Marinak is a strategy research analyst at Resource Global Professionals, a global services firm.

She previously worked as an adjunct professor in education at New York University, research consultant at Guideline and research manager at Research International.

She attended Dartmouth College and New York University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 38 sales in Elwood in 2008, with a median sales price of $455,000.
