Scharf Land Development Co. paid $120,000 for the property in Aug. 2008. The home is located in the Glendale South neighborhood.

Dr. Heller is an emergency medicine specialist affiliated with St. Louis University Hospital. He also serves as an assistant professor of surgery at the St. Louis University School of Medicine.

He earned his M.D. from Chicago Medical School and his M.B.A. from the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management. He finished his residency at the University of Chicago Hospitals and at Bethesda Naval Medical Center.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 82 home sales in Glendale during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $255,000.
