Dr. Edward B. Savage and Susan T. Savage sold a five-bedroom, three-bath home at 16519 Walnut Rail Road in Clarkson Valley to Thomas and Eileen Dillon for $690,000 on Oct. 9.

The Savages paid $700,000 for the property in Aug. 2005. The 2,711-square-foot house in the Clarkson Valley North neighborhood was built in 1978.

Dr. Savage has been the medical director of heart and vascular services at St. John's Mercy Hospital.

He earned his B.A. in biochemistry from Columbia College and his M.D. from the Yale University School of Medicine.

Mr. Dillon has served as the president of Dillon Financial Services. He also worked for Merrill Lynch & Co. Inc., Bank of America Corp.,  and Morgan Stanley & Co.

He graduated from the Purdue University Krannert Business School.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 33 home sales in Clarkson Valley during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $535,000.
