James C. Selman, Jr., bought a two-bedroom, one-bath home at 1328 S. Cloverdale Ave. in Mid-City from Citimortgage Inc. for $669,000 on Sept. 15.

Citimortgage Inc. foreclosed on the property in Sept. 2008. The 968-square-foot house was built in 1932.

Mr. Selman is the founding board member of the Legacy XXI Institute, a Los Angeles educational organization. He earned his bachelor's in social psychology and philosophy from the University of Oklahoma.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 406 home sales in Mid-City during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $339,000.
