The Cordtses paid $575,000 for the property in March 2001. The 2,319-square-foot home in South Torrance was built in 1953.

Mr. Cordts is an international operations manager at Toyota Financial Services in Los Angeles. He formerly served as a project manager at Toyota Motor Marketing and served as a district account manager at Toyota Motor Insurance Services Inc.

He attended the Martin J. Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University and the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University.

Chieh has served as a manager at Tireco Inc., a retailer, wholesaler and commercial tire dealer.

He attended University of California-Irvine.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 806 home sales in Torrance during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $560,000.
