Dr. Kimberly Sue Klausner and David Edward Smiler sold a three-bedroom, two-bath home at 1454 Beverwil Drive in South Robertson to Lori Pietruszka for $865,000 on Nov. 1.

Dr. Klausner and Smiler paid $715,000 for the property in Sept. 2003. The 1,351-square-foot house was built in 1942.

Dr. Klausner is a pediatrician at Roxbury Pediatrics in Beverly Hills.

She earned her medical degree from the University of California School of Medicine-Los Angeles and completed her residency in pediatrics at the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles.

Smiler, a licensed marriage and family therapist, is program supervisor at Children's Bureau. He previously was a clinical supervisor at Hathaway-Sycamores Child and Family Services and was a therapist at The Help Group.

He attended Antioch University and the University of California-Davis.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 77 home sales in South Robertson during the past 12 months, with a median sale of $627,500.
