David Warren Gibson sold a one-bedroom, one-bath home at 1258 Hilldale Ave. in Hollywood to Deborah Macmillan for $560,000 on Dec. 8.

Gibson paid $580,000 for the property in Nov. 2003. The 560-square-foot house was built in 1936.

MR. Gibson is an artist. His works have exhibited at the Klapper Gallery and Gallerie Lakaye in Los Angeles and North Beach Gallery and Sutter Gallery in San Francisco.

He attended the University of Houston, the University of St. Thomas, the Minneapolis Art Institute and the Otis Parsons School of Design.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 620 home sales in Hollywood during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $765,000.
