The Bosses acquired the property for $1.275 million in June 2004. The 2,621-square-foot house was built in 1965 in the South Palos Verdes Estates neighborhood.

Mr. Boss has served as the director and chief executive officer at Skipping Stone Inc., a Los Angeles energy consulting firm. He has also served as the director and president of Commerce Energy, Inc.

He received his bachelor's in aerospace engineering from the University of Texas and his J.D. from USC.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 163 home sales in Palos Verdes Estates in 2008, with a median price of $1.537 million.
