Mr. Cousins is Major League Baseball umpire who made his debut in 1979. He's worked the World Series on three different occasions (1988, 1999, 2005) and three All-Star Games, as well as six different League Championship Series. He is one of just 18 umpires who has worked more than 4,000 games.

He played professional baseball in the Detroit Tigers and Cleveland Indians organizations and earned his bachelor's in political science from El Camino Community College.
