Nickoloff is chairman at The Nickoloff Cos., a privately held company that operates companies in the hospitality and real estate industries. The company is based in Irvine.

He is also the founder of the Claim Jumper Restaurant chain, which was founded in 1977 and has locations in eight different states. He attended Long Beach State University.
