Film producer asking $7.985M in Bel Air

Medium 3350599c50a2164606d7cf4fd0a60b00 Jordan Kerner and Nicola Rose Oshea Kerner have listed for sale a five-bedroom, five-bath home at 469 St. Pierre Road in Bel Air for $7.985 million.

The 4,691-square-foot house was built in 1951.

Max Shapiro of Westside Estate Agency is the listing agent for the home.

Mr. Kerner is a film producer who has had a hand in such hit films as Fried Green Tomatoes, The Mighty Ducks, Inspector Gadget and Miami Rhapsody. He's also slated to produce the 2011 film adaptation of The Smurfs.

He's also the Dean of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts Filmmaking Program.

He received a B.A. in political science and communications from Stanford University, an M.B.A. from University of California-Berkeley and his J.D. from the University of California Hastings College of Law in San Francisco.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 59 sales in Bel Air during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $1.825 million.
