Lawyer, accountant couple sells Palm Beach Gardens 4BD

Gerald A. Rosenthal and his wife, Ingrid, sold a four-bath home at 73 St. George Place in Palm Beach Gardens to Otis and Sharon Warren for $825,700 on June 27.

The Rosenthals bought the property for $234,000 in Dec. 1990. The 4,148-square-foot house was built in 1991.

Mr. Rosenthal is a senior partner in the West Palm Beach law office Rosenthal & Levy. His practice focuses on workers' compensation and disability retirement and pension.

Having dedicated his legal career for the welfare of workers, he was the first attorney in Florida to successfully try a case of Hepatitis C contracted in the workplace. Before he embarked on a career as a lawyer, he served in the U.S. Army.

He earned his J.D. from the University of Florida Law School in 1973.

Mrs. Rosenthal is the CFO of Rosenthal & Levy. She has been with the law firm since its opening in 1985.

A certified public accountant, she earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Florida (1970) and earned her master's in accounting from Florida Atlantic University in '77.

The couple met at the University of Florida, and was married in 1974.

Home sales in Palm Beach Gardens have dropped 14 percent in 2008 versus sales in 2007. The median sales price is also down from $320,000 to $290,000 so far this year.
