Dr. Arquimides G. Losada bought a five-bedroom, three-bath home at 15845 W. Prestwick Place in Miami Lakes from Louis and Cynthia Navarro for $585,000 on Sept. 21.

The Navarros paid $545,000 for the property in Nov. 2004. The 3,286-square-foot house in the Miami Lakes East neighborhood was built in 1971.

Dr. Losada is an internist at Palmetto General Hospital in Hialeah.

He earned his medical degree from Universidad Complutense De Madrid and completed his residencies in internal medicine at Hospital University de Ponce and in urology at Veteran Affairs Medical Center.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 167 home sales in Miami Lakes in 2008, with a median sales price of $280,000.
